Sunday Class with Ravi
The space of your ribs and the middle of your spine quietly shape how you move, breathe, and carry yourself.
For many people, this area gradually becomes less available—not from injury, but from habit. Because this happens slowly, most people don’t notice it. Instead, they experience the effects: the ribs move less, the spine becomes more fixed, and breathing adapts.
In this 6-class series, we’ll explore how to bring this “silent center” back into play.
Through gentle, precise movement, you’ll learn to:
- sense how your ribs and spine move together
- involve more of yourself in breathing
- reduce unnecessary effort in movement
- move with greater connection and responsiveness
This is not about stretching or strengthening. It’s about developing awareness and expanding your options for movement.
As this area becomes more available, many people notice unexpected changes in how they move, breathe, and carry themselves.
Dates: 6 Sundays from June 14 to July 26 (No class on July 5)
Time: Sunday 1:30 – 3:00 PM
Venue: Vista Yoga, 2836 Lavista Rd, Decatur
Format: In-Person and Online via Zoom

Workshop with Aruna
What if improving your pelvic floor health didn’t start with strengthening but with learning how to listen to your body?
What makes this workshop different from typical pelvic floor programs:
Beyond Strengthening:
Instead of isolating and tightening the pelvic floor, you’ll explore how it coordinates with your breath, hips, spine, and whole body so it can respond appropriately in real-life situations.
Subtle, Doable Movements:
We’ll use small, comfortable movements to help you sense what’s often hard to feel. This is where real change begins, not by forcing, but by noticing.
Learning Both Effort and Release:
A healthy pelvic floor isn’t just strong it also knows how to let go. You’ll learn to recognize and improve both contraction and relaxation.
Practical and Relevant:
Everything we explore connects directly to everyday functions like walking, breathing, balance, and elimination so the work carries over into your daily life.
This workshop is for you if you are experiencing or wanting to prevent pelvic floor discomfort, incontinence, constipation. Is it especially relevant for women going through changes of midlife and beyond.

Hear What People Are Saying
“Ravi brings a solid background as an athlete, as well as an engineer to his Instruction. He is a patient and understanding teacher. Just come to class! Ravi can teach you how to feel better, move easier and look better doing it!”
Every one-on-one session with Ravi is a powerful discovery. I am learning how to move parts of my body that had been long forgotten, causing my neck, shoulders and pelvis to work much harder. I have been managing symptoms from a herniated disc in my neck for many years. Now I have gained awareness to let my skeletal system move in an integrated way to make it easier for my neck and shoulders. How you are in your body is a reflection of how you interact with the world. Feldenkrais with Ravi is a profound practice – a gift to yourself.
Aruna is a skillful and intuitive practitioner. As a yoga teacher and foot reflexologist I know my body well, and yet my work with Aruna has expanded that knowledge even further!
