Services

Private Lesson

This is a one-on-one, hands-on session, tailored to your needs. The practitioner uses gentle, non-invasive touch to guide your body through movement. It’s fully clothed, collaborative, and often deeply relaxing—like a conversation through movement.

Many students notice improved coordination, reduced strain, and a greater sense of ease in everyday activities following individual work.

Group Classes

Done mostly lying down on a mat. Students follow verbal instructions that guide them through a sequence of gentle, structured movements with many variations. The aim is to sense how easy or difficult each option feels. By the end of the lesson, a once difficult movement often becomes much easier.

Classes are intentionally kept small so we can closely observe what each student is doing. This allows the guidance to be adjusted in real time, meeting students where they are and ensuring they receive meaningful benefit from every class.

I am a 77-year-old woman recovering from a bad accident, multiple surgeries, scoliosis and sciatica. After working with Ravi and the Feldenkrais method, I no longer have back pain and walk with new ease. Ravi is an excellent teacher and coach and explains clearly how each movement leads to improvement. I highly recommend Feldenkrais and Ravi’s expertise to anyone who wants to improve the quality of their life.

Aruna was wonderful in taking us through the different practices for our pelvis. Intention and awareness were my biggest take aways.

I worked with Ravi for private lessons for 10 weeks. He is extremely knowledgeable about how each part of the body works. I gained so much useful information from him that I can use for the rest of my life. He is very professional and responsible. I highly recommend him to anyone who is serious about improving their health, such as reducing pain, gaining more mobility and flexibility, and learning how to walk, sit, and move properly.

Ravi is a very good instructor. He introduced me to the basic concepts of ATM (Attention Through Movement) which helped immediately address patterns in my movement that were inefficient. I could see the benefits of those adjustments very clearly. I had a shoulder injury that Ravi helped me recover from by identifying trigger points and making me aware of unconscious guarding behavior in my movements. I highly recommend Ravi @ Atlanta Feldenkrais for anyone who wants to improve their movement and live a more dynamic efficient life.

I sought help for a nagging shoulder injury and decided to try Feldenkrais with Ravi. The results have been excellent—my shoulder mobility is much better, and the pain is almost gone! It didn't just help the injury heal, the gentle movements made me feel great overall. Ravi also identified few other 'weak' spots that I was not aware of (stiff neck, pelvic tilt etc) and suggested exercises/posture tips to help with those issues too. Beyond the physical improvements, working with Ravi is a joy. He has a very calm and pleasing demeanor that makes every session incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. I'm very grateful for his care.

Aruna’s Feldenkrais class is awesome! It’s helped my plantar fasciitis way more than I expected — I used to get pain after just 30 min of walking w/o arch support, and now I can go for hours! Aruna’s crazy knowledgeable about the body and makes it fun to learn and experiment. Highly recommend!

Ravi really helped me with my knee pain about 1 year ago. I went to see him when I started to have sudden knee spasms. He immediately noticed that my pelvis was tilted backward, causing unnecessary strain on the outside of my knees. He offered some exercises and mental models to follow. Within two weeks, voila! I felt more balanced and the knee spasms were gone! Another added benefit was that I felt like I was playing the best tennis of my life! I'm a fairly active participant, so at first this was a bit perplexing. Then it started to make sense...instead of fighting gravity, I was starting to learn to embrace the natural support system our bodies offer. And in turn, I was able to use my muscles more efficiently. It was truly a transformational visit - thank you, Ravi!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Feldenkrais Method?

The Feldenkrais Method Feldenkrais (phonetically: FELDEN – KR – ICE) is a gentle, movement-based approach that helps you improve how you move, feel, and function. It uses mindful movement and body awareness to reduce pain, improve mobility, and support overall well-being.

How is this different from other therapies?

Unlike traditional exercise or therapy, the Feldenkrais Method focuses on learning how you move rather than strengthening or stretching muscles. It works with your nervous system to create new, more efficient movement patterns—often leading to lasting changes without strain or effort.

Is this safe after an injury or surgery?

Definitely. The Feldenkrais Method is gentle and adaptable. It meets you where you are, helping you rebuild movement patterns without pushing through pain. Many people use it to support healing and regain confidence after injury, illness, or surgery.
